Some thoughts to prepare for class on Friday (1/30):

As you complete the assigned readings as listed in the syllabus, keep the following questions in your mind:
Be ready to differentiate between new media and “new new media” by offering characteristics of both.  Do you agree with the distinctions he makes?  What might you change?

What does Levinson mean by the ”democratization of new new media production”?    Under what circumstances should a democratic society considering BANNING certain new new media?
